1. Eligibility

    • Participants must be 13–18 years old and enrolled as students.

    • Teams may have up to 4 members.

    • This is a virtual-only event — all work must be done remotely during the hackathon window.

  2. Original Work

    • All submissions must be created during the hackathon period.

    • Pre-existing projects or code are not allowed unless explicitly stated by organizers.

    • You may use open-source tools, APIs, or frameworks as long as proper credit is given.

  3. Submissions

    • Each team must submit:

      • A public GitHub repository containing the code, mockups, or presentation materials.

      • A 60-second demo video showcasing your product or prototype.

      • A 5-minute pitch presentation explaining your idea, impact, and implementation.

    • Late submissions will not be accepted.

  4. Judging

    • Projects will be evaluated based on:

      • Innovation and creativity

      • Impact and feasibility

      • Execution and design

      • Presentation clarity

    • The top 5 teams will advance to a live pitch round for final judging.

  5. Conduct

    • Participants are expected to maintain professionalism and respect.

    • Plagiarism, harassment, or unethical behavior will result in disqualification.

    • All participants must follow the LUMA Code of Conduct (you can add this link when it’s ready).

  6. Ownership & Rights

    • Teams retain ownership of their projects.

    • By submitting, you grant LUMA permission to feature your project on promotional materials, the event website, and social media.

  7. Decisions

    • All decisions by the judging panel and organizers are final.

    • Organizers reserve the right to disqualify any participant or team for rule violations.
